Our studio is available for hire for still or video photography

We have a large, very well equipped studio, and it's available for any type of still or video photography

The studio is available to both amateur and professional photographers, 7 days a week, subject to our work diary.

The studio measures over 2,200 square feet and has a roomset, a range of different backgrounds, a large range of professional flash equipment including Elinchrom generator and monoblocks, Strobex generator etc., various snoots, honeycombs, brollies, softboxes etc and focussing spotlights. The studio can also be used for video, using our HMI lighting sytem (HMI is a professional continuous lighting system that produces daylight balanced, high quality light. Unlike normal continuous lighting, it is cool-running)

The use of all lighting & and other studio equipment is included.

As you can see from the photos, the studio is ideal for all types of photography, including lifestyle, and emulates a normal room. Using simple props (including a portable 'window' that can be positioned as required,) the roomset can become virtually anything you want it to be!.

Equipment includes a networked computer that allows images from professional digital cameras to be viewed directly on screen.

Info about our studio facilities

The main studio measures approx 34' x 39' with a maximum shooting distance of approx 60'

It includes a permanent roomset measuring approx 24' x 20', fitted with a genuine tongued & grooved pine floor, a door and both fixed and portable backlit windows.

Other backgrounds include a garden fence, various coloured acrylic sheets, pure black flock and the normal paper rolls.

Lighting equipment includes 5,000J, 3,00J, 2,400J, 2,000J, 1,200J, 800J, 400J & 100J flash units with softboxes, brollies, snoots, honeycombs & two focussing spotlights.

A changing room for models is included.

The studio is totally private but a skilled professional photographer will be on hand to provide free technical help if needed

Hire costs:
Up to 4 hours @ £20 per hour
Over 4 hours @ only £15 per hour
Full day, £120
Models can be arranged if required
Minimum booking is for 2 hours

 

You can book now online - just click on the credit card symbol below to pay for your first hour of studio time, using any debit or credit card. This will transfer £20 to our account, which will be your deposit. The balance can be paid on the day. As soon as we have been notified of your payment we will contact you by email to make arrangements to suit you.

Free basic instruction is available if required and we also provide lighting workshops on studio photography

Our studio is easy to find and there are no parking problems.

The entrance is in Mill Street and you will find the Yorkshire Co-op 'Late Shop' on the corner of Beacon Road and Mill Street.

Beacon Road runs between Fair Road and Great Horton Road.
From Manchester Road, leave at Odsal Top, turn left with the Police Station on your left and follow the road. Our studio will be on your right.
From Great Horton Road (heading away from Bradford Centre) turn left and sharp left just past the Jet Garage. You will now be in Beacon Road and our studio will be on your left. Visitors are very welcome but please ring first.
