Because
each Workshop is completely individual, the exact content and depth
of teaching will depend on your personal learning needs and on your
own level of existing knowledge and experience.
What
will I learn on an outdoor course?
A lot of people struggle to get good outdoor shots. One of the reasons
for this may be that modern cameras try to take over the thought processes
that are needed for good photography, so people tend to leave everything
on automatic in the hope that the camera will get it right!
So we go back to
the basics, concentrating on how to get creative effects by using different
apertures to control depth of field, different shutter speeds to either
freeze action or to introduce creative movement blur, how and when to
use both wideangle and telephoto lens effects, how to compose your images
(using subject position, colour etc.), the importance of both camera
position and camera height. etc. etc.
This type of information
is almost impossible to learn from books, magazines and websites. Some
people manage to pick it up as they go along but this can take years
- you'll be amazed at the difference to both the quality of your photography
and your knowledge after just one day!
And
you'll also get free
access to all of our Photolearn tutorials, for future
information and support and you'll also take a disk with all your pictures
on it, plus you'll take home any Polaroids you've shot, and you'll also
have full and completely free ongoing telephone support.
I hope that
the information on this page will be helpful, but please ring me on
